The perfect kitchen scrubbing brush, ideal for cleaning pots, pans, cutting boards, and scrubbing the scorch marks at the bottom of pots. It is also great for cleaning vegetables.
This traditional Japanese Tawashi Brush is made in Wakayama prefecture and handcrafted by artisans from Takada Tawashi. The material used for Tawashi is windmill palm tree, or shuro, native to Wakayama prefecture. It has been used for brooms and scrub brushes, called Tawashi in Japanese for many years.
For use:
- Cutting board, cookware, tableware, pottery, vegetables.
Care Instructions:
- Do not apply more pressure to your tawashi than necessary
- After use, remove excess water thoroughly and leave to dry in a well-ventilated place
